The CCCB (Centro de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona - Barcelona Contemporary Culture Center) accommodated the "Gangs of the 80s. Films, press and street" exhibition curated by Amanda Cuesta and Mery Cuesta.

The exhibition offered a view of gang films and their sensational press feedback at the time. It also served to reflect the urban, social, political and economic transformations that thrashed the country during those convulsed years.

We designed the exhibition’s graphic identity and advertising by using sensational press esthetics and resources and the audiovisual language of juvenile films shown at the time.

As a brochure for the exhibition we created a newspaper with the original front page of El Periódico printed on a rotary press to achieve the same rough finish found in large circulation newspapers.

This identity has been maintained throughout the exhibition’s itinerancy at La Casa Encendida in Madrid, the Historic Center in Zaragoza and the Bilbao Alhóndiga.
