ADG-FAD wanted to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Laus Awards by paying tribute to four great Design Pioneers in Spain: Josep Pla Narbona, Enric Huguet, Albert Isern and Josep Baqués.
In 1961 a group of graphics professionals decided to create an association in defence of the profession, Grafistas FAD (currently ADG-FAD), in the context of Spain under dictatorship. In 1964, they also decided to create the Laus Design Awards.
The ADG-FAD Board of Directors assigned the job of interviewing the Grafistas FAD founders to Jordi Duró, who had already studied these Pioneers in depth. The result of these interviews was made public during the 50th anniversary of the Laus Awards. Their viewing is highly recommended.
